On October 13, 1928, plaintiff, the owner and oper ator of a hauling outfit consisting of a White automobile truck with a trailer attached thereto, attempted to drive the equipment, which was loaded with green rock oak timbers twenty-seven to thirty-five feet in length, over the covered wooden bridge spanning Shamokin Creek in the County of Northumberland. The combined weight of the truck and load was about thirteen tons. Plaintiff had driven a similar load across the bridge a few days before.
