This case involves the murder of a young pregnant, woman and her fetus, which was viable at the time of her death. Appellant was the biological father of the unborn child. The victim was discovered in a car parked in a parking lot. She had been shot once in the head and once in the abdomen. Appellant is currently serving a life sentence without the possibility of parole. Appellant argues that the state’s evidence was insufficient to support the trial court’s denial of his motion for judgment of acquittal.
