Appellant Justina Ghartey filed suit alleging two causes of action arising from her termination from employment. The first cause of action named as defendants the appellees Saint John’s Queens Hospital (the Hospital) and Local 1199, Drug, Hospital and Health Care Employees Union, RWDSU, AFL-CIO (the Union).
