STEIN, District Judge.

The plaintiff class has moved, pursuant to Fed.R.Civ.P. 23(e), for final approval of the settlement of this class action on the terms set forth in the Stipulation and Agreement of Compromise and Settlement (the “Settlement Agreement”) executed by the parties on July 11, 1996. By its Order dated July 17, 1996, this Court granted preliminary approval of the Settlement Agreement as “fair, reasonable and adequate,” set a date for a hearing on whether the terms of the Settlement Agreement were fair, reasonable and adequate, and directed Class Counsel to…
