Jacquan Shootes appeals his conviction for two counts of aggravated assault and the denial of his motion for new trial. Because events during the jury trial de nied Appellant a fair trial, the conviction is reversed and the case is remanded for further proceedings.

On February 15, 2007, officers of the Jacksonville Sheriffs Office Narcotics Unit (“JSO”) prepared to execute a search warrant upon a residence.
