LISA WHITE HARDWICK, Judge.

James Bennett appeals from his jury convictions for first-degree robbery and armed criminal action. Bennett contends the trial court plainly erred in fading to intervene, sua sponte, during the prosecu tor’s closing arguments. For reasons explained herein, we find no error and affirm the convictions.

Factual and Peocedural History
