By this appeal the defendants, McKenna and Dickey, seek to reverse a judgment for $1,483.79, recovered against them by the plaintiff company, in the municipal court of Chicago. The defendants maintained a grain elevator in the Chicago district. The plaintiff Railroad Company brought this action to recover certain demurrage charges which had accrued on shipments consigned to this elevator.
