Appeal from the Circuit Court of the United States for the District of Colorado. This is an appeal from a decree dismissing the bill of complaint in a suit to restrain the infringement of a patent. The appellant, the Sloan Filter Company, sued as the successor in title to Edward D. Sloan, patentee in letters patent No. 587,874, issued August 10, 1897, for improvements in barrel filters for use in the filtration of precious metal solutions, as in the chlorination process.
