MEMORANDUM OPINION

Opinion by

STEVEN C. HILBIG, Justice.

A jury convicted appellant Michael Howard of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and the trial court imposed a sen tence of twenty years in prison and a $5,000 fine. On appeal, appellant advances four points of error: (1) the trial court erred in denying his motion to suppress; (2) the trial court erred in denying his request for a jury instruction on voluntary intoxication; (3) the court reporter failed to record bench conferences; and (4) he was denied the effective assistance of counsel. We affirm.
