KELLUM, Judge.

Matthew Reeves appeals the circuit court’s denial of his petition for postconviction relief filed pursuant to Rule 32, Ala. R.Crim. P., in which he attacked his capital-murder conviction and sentence of death.

In 1998, Reeves was convicted of murder made capital because it was committed during the course of a robbery in the first degree, see § 13A-5-40(a)(2), Ala.Code 1975. By a vote of 10-2, the jury recommended that Reeves be sentenced to death for his capital-murder conviction. The trial court followed the jury’s recommendation and sentenced Reeves to death.
