On the 25th day of September, 1895, William L. Savage & Company entered into a written agreement with the city of Buffalo to furnish the materials and do the mason-work in the construction of the Hasten Park High School building according to certain plans and specifications which were made a part of the contract. The agreed price to be paid Savage & Company for this work and the requisite materials was $45,999.99.
