The People filed this interlocutory appeal pursuant to C.A.R. 4.1 seeking review of the El Paso County District Court’s order suppressing drug and drug paraphernalia evidence obtained during a warrantless search of Craig M. Cascio’s van. The evidence was obtained after the defendants-appellees, Craig M. Cascio and Scott M. Cascio, were approached by deputies of the El Paso County Sheriffs Office because their van was parked illegally. Thereafter, the Cascios consented to a search of the van.
