This application for final allowances of counsel fees and disbursements represents one of the final steps in a protracted action by the Securities and Exchange Commission (“S.E.C.”), to enjoin, inter alia, violations of the Investment Company Act, 15 U.S.C. § 80a-l et seq., and to obtain appointment of a receiver for Fifth Avenue Coach Lines, Inc. (“the company”) pursuant to § 80a-41(e) of that Act. The action was commenced in October, 1967, trial was held from March through May, 1968, a decision was rendered in July, and S.
