Reversing.

On June 2, 1919, tbe Potomac Insurance Company executed and delivered to tbe Falls City Plumbing Supply Company a policy insuring it in tbe sum of $500.00 against tbe loss by theft, of a Ford automobile. Tbe policy contained tbe following provisions:

“In tbe event of loss or damage tbe assured shall forthwith give notice thereof in writing to this company or tbe authorized agent who issued this policy, and shall protect tbe property from further loss or damage; and within sixty days thereafter, unless such túne is extended in writing by this company,…
