(After stating the foregoing facts.) A municipal corporation is not liable for a negligent performance of its governmental functions. Code, § 69-301; Roberts v. Mayor &c. of Savannah, 54 Ga. App. 375 (188 S. E. 39); City of Atlanta v. Garner, 56 Ga. App. 435 (192 S. E. 841). On the other hand, it is liable for the improper or unskillful performance of its ministerial functions.
