The facts involved in this controversy, stated as briefly as may be, are as follows:

Samuel Sternberger died October 25, 1918, leaving a will, wherein he created certain annuities and life estates, with remainders over. His estate was duly administered and the assets were awarded, in 1920, to Ms trustees for the purposes set forth in his will..

The trustees filed no account from 1920 to March, 1932. The account then filed showed that during the period 1920 to 1932 the trustees charged numerous items, amounting to $17,255.22, against the income, wMch, it was alleged,…
