The five cases to be considered herein were brought by the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (the Commission) to enforce subpoenas issued by the Commission to the United States Fidelity and Guaranty Company (the respondent or the Company) pursuant to Section 710 of Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, as amended, 42 U.S.C. Section 2000e-9. Jurisdiction is conferred upon the Court by Sections 706(f)(3) and 710 of Title VII, 42 U.S.C. Sections 2000e-5(f)(3) and 9.
