Plaintiff, Mr. Gary W. Richards, filed this Complaint against Direct Energy Services, LLC (“DES”), asserting claims that arise out of DES’s business of supplying electricity to residential customers. Compl. ¶¶2-3, ECF No. 1. Mr. Richards alleges that DES attracted new customers by promising low rates on electricity and subsequently charged exorbitant prices, not reasonably related to the market rate. Id. ¶¶ 2-6.
