*794Mrs. Mary Gomes brought suit against her husband Manuel Gomes for separation from bed and board forever, for custody of their minor children and for alimony, etc. At the conclusion of the hearing the circuit judge hied his decision favorable to the libellant on her claim -for separation and appointed a master for the purpose of ascertaining and reporting to him the financial standing and condition of the libellee and his ability to pay either alimony in gross or in periodical payments, or partly in gross and partly in periodical payments.
