This matter comes before the Court on defendant’s Motion to Dismiss Plaintiffs First Amended Complaint (doc. 24). The Motion has been briefed and is now ripe for disposition.
I. Relevant Background.
Plaintiff, Erica Mahan, brought this action against defendant, Retrieval-Masters Credit Bureau, Inc. (“Retrieval-Masters”), alleging violations of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, 15 U.S.C. §§ 1692 et seq. (“FDCPA”).
