This is an insurance subrogation case. Plaintiffs appeal from the trial court’s judgment that the defendants were not liable for a rear-end collision on Highway 347 near St. Martinville, Louisiana. For the reasons which follow, we affirm.

DISCUSSION OF THE RECORD

On November 27, 1990, at approximately 5:40 p.m., Deleambre Batiste, who was employed by St. Martin Sugar Cooperative, Inc., was traveling north on Highway 347 near St. Martinville, Louisiana in a 1969 Chevrolet C-50 dump truck.
