The American National Bank, as trustee, brought an action of forcible detainer against George Lembessis to recover possession of, and rent or damages for, the latter’s alleged wrongful occupation of leased premises. After the defendant filed an appearance and jury demand but no responsive pleading to the complaint, the plaintiff filed a motion for summary judgment supported by an affidavit and exhibits.
