A public highway, in the County of Northampton, passed through the townships of Washington and Plain-field and the borough of Bangor. It was proposed that it be made a county road to be built under the supervision of the State, and petitions were presented by the three municipalities mentioned requesting the county commissioners to apply to the highway department for the necessary surveys.
