This was a hill in equity filed to compel contribution by the defendant W. L. Kann. From the facts as found by the court below it appears that the Penn-American Plate Glass Company borrowed the sum of $750,000 from the Farmers’ Deposit National Bank of Pittsburgh, giving its note to the bank for that amount dated March 13, 1909, with $600,000 of its own bonds as collateral security. An agreement signed by W. L. Kann, Samuel Wertheimer, Emanuel Wertheimer, Isaac Wertheimer, Isaac Guckenheimer, Ida Guckenheimer, M. M. Kann, and Samuel J. Mack was also given to the…
