A two-car accident occurred at the intersection of Hockersville Road and *229Route 422 in Derry Township, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania on May 7, 1988. Pamela Spisak, plaintiff herein, the operator of one vehicle was seriously injured. She and her husband, Gregory Spisak, filed this action against Francis H. Downey, the operator of the second vehicle and the township of Derry. The defendant township brought in C.M. High Inc. as the additional defendant.
