The record discloses that Steckman, at the time of the injury, was hauling a load of household goods between two towns, which necessitated his passing through Rock Island, Illinois. He was sitting on a packing-box, which was inside and in the front end of the wagon, in such a position as to necessitate hanging his legs outside the wagon box in front, thereby having no brace for his feet in case the horses shied or ran.
