This is an action to ascertain the value of the plaintiffs shares of stock in a corporation know as Woloohojian Realty Corporation. Plaintiff is an owner of one third of the stock of the corporation. Plaintiff initially brought this action to compel a liquidation of the corporation. Substantially all of the corporation’s assets were real estate interests. Under the provisions of R.I.Gen.Laws § 7-1.1-90.1 (1992), the corporation elected to purchase the plaintiffs shares. A Special Master was appointed to value the shares. 1 After hearing the…
