The defendant, Victor Santiago, appeals from the judgment of conviction, rendered against him after a jury trial on the charge of murder in violation of General Statutes § 53a-54a. On appeal, the defendant claims that the trial court erred in admitting into evidence (1) his wife's statement to the police as a prior consistent statement and (2) her testimony of uncharged misconduct relating to domestic violence perpetrated by the defendant.
