WEST, J.
The defendant, Nicholas Russo, appeals from the judgment of conviction, rendered following a jury trial, of six counts of obtaining a controlled substance by forgery of a prescription in violation of General Statutes § 2 la-266 (a) (2). On appeal, the defendant claims that the trial court (1) improperly determined that the police did not alter his prescription records, (2) compromised his right not to testify by asking whether he intended to invoke the physician-patient privilege and (3) failed to conduct an adequate investigation of possible juror bias.
