Plaintiffs appeal as of right following a jury verdict in favor of defendant in a suit brought under the no-fault act, MCL 500.3135(1); MSA 24.13135(1). The suit alleged that Lyle O. Beard suffered serious impairment of body function following a 1980 collision between plaintiffs 1 vehicle and a City of Detroit bus.
