The suit originated in the attachment of a boat, the property of the defendants, by force of the statute of this state, facilitating the collection of demands against ships and other vessels. Nix. Dig. 529.* The defendants having appeared and given bond, the pleadings were conducted in conformity with the requirements of the act.
