—The petitioner, George C. Scudamore, through his brother Charles C. Scudamore, invoking the original jurisdiction of this court in habeas corpus cases, filed here his petition for such writ, alleging that he was detained in custody and unlawfully deprived of his liberty by the sheriff of Escambia county and his deputy under and by virtue of an order, judgment or decree made by the county judge of Escambia county adjudging him, the said George C. Scudamore, to be insane and directing the said sheriff to deliver him to the superintendent of the Florida Hospital for the Insane for care,…
