The people appeal as of right from the decision and order of the Detroit Recorder’s Court granting defendant Frank Arthur Toney’s motion to suppress the evidence and dismiss the complaint. Defendant had been charged with one count of possession of less than twenty-five grams of cocaine, MCL 333.7403(2)(a)(v); MSA 14.15(7403) (2)(a)(v). The trial court concluded that the evidence of narcotics was the product of an illegal arrest. On the basis of our Supreme Court’s recent decision in People v Mamon, 435 Mich 1; 457 NW2d 623 (1990), we affirm.
