Plaintiff, a former radio operator on a vessel of the defendant, sues to recover damages for breach of contract of employment, alleging that after his recuperation ashore from an injury received on the vessel the defendant declined to permit him to resume his employment. The question is whether the contract of employment was for a period for which the plaintiff contends.
