DICKSON, Justice.

This motor vehicle collision case involves a trial court’s denial of summary judgment motions filed by the defendant trucking company and its insurance carrier.

The plaintiffs-appellees, Carl and Sheri Hall, were injured when their automobile collided with a truck owned by the defendant-appellant Warner Trucking, Inc., and driven by its employee, Carl Manuel. The Halls brought an action for damages against Warner Trucking and its driver.
