Tbis action was brought in Wilson Sm perior Court by plaintiff, wbo resided in that county, and summons was served on tbe defendant by tbe Sheriff of Johnston. Tbe complaint avers that tbe defendant is indebted to tbe plaintiff by promissory note, and for further large sums in which tbe plaintiff is liable as surety for defendant, and that to secure such indebtedness tbe defendant bad turned ■over to tbe plaintiff sundry notes, a large portion of which Were due by residents of Wilson County and secured by property in said county; that tbe defendant afterwards got possession of a…
