OPINION

WEISBERGER, Chief Justice.

This case comes before us on the appeal of Gregory Acciardo (defendant or Acciar-do) from a judgment of conviction entered in the Superior Court on two counts of harboring Michael Rossi (Rossi) and Louis Marchetti (Marchetti), both of whom had been clients* of the defendant on previous occasions involving criminal charges. We reverse the conviction. The facts and travel of the case are as follows.
