This is an action for damages in which the plaintiff, Balfour Beatty, Inc., (Beatty), alleges that the defendants, Colonial Iron Works (Colonial) and Engineered Products, Inc. (EPI) are liable for breach of contract, negligent misrepresentation, fraudulent misrepresentation, and violations of the Connecticut Unfair Trade Practices Act (CUTPA), Conn. Gen.Stat. § 42-110b(a).
