In this municipal tax appeal, the plaintiff, Samnard Associates, LLC, challenges the rendering of summary judgment in favor of the defendant, the city of New Britain (city). On appeal, the plaintiff claims that the trial court improperly determined that the plaintiff was precluded from appealing its property assessment for the October 1, 2009 grand list. The court concluded that the plaintiff could not compel an interim revaluation to obtain a further reduction in the assessment it had received for the October 1, 2007 grand list.
