HUNTLEY, Justice.

Ada County Highway District condemned a parcel of land needed for an extension and widening of Emerald Street near its confluence with Cole Road in Boise. The property sought to be taken was the major portion of a vacant, unimproved residential lot which Dr. Magwire had purchased as a situs for a future office. The sole issue below was the amount of just compensation to be paid for the taking.
