A. W. Sawyer brought this action on a contract of insurance issued to him by the Norwich Union Fire Insurance Society Limited on a certain house alleged to have been destroyed by fire. The policy was issued August 26, 1936, and the house was destroyed December 17, 1936. To his petition the plaintiff attached a copy of the policy, which, among other stipulations and agreements, contained the following: “This entire policy, unless otherwise provided by agreement indorsed hereon or added hereto shall be void, — if the interest of the insured be other than unconditional and sole ownership; or if…
