REYNOLDS, Judge:

Robert R. Lane, d/b/a Air-Con, Inc., brought this action to recover for labor and materials supplied for the repair of the air conditioning system of the Rodeway Inn in 1974. Plaintiff’s action sought recovery of $4,270.00 for work done in August and an additional $700.00 for work done in October of that year. The trial before the court with a jury waived encompassed direct and cross-examination of one witness for the plaintiff and that witness was Robert R. Lane.
