Judgment, Supreme Court, Bronx County (George R. Vil-legas, J.), rendered March 28, 2014, convicting defendant, after a jury trial, of assault in the second degree as a hate crime, and sentencing him, as a persistent violent felony offender, to a term of 16 years to life, unanimously affirmed.
