Two questions are involved upon this appeal ■— the question of notice and the question of allowance of medical and hospital bills.
The claimant worked as a salesman for a wholesale fish merchant. On or about June 10, 1919, while taking down a box of fish it fell and struck him on the left leg above the knee which he put up in trying to save the box from hitting the ground. One of his co-employees was coming in at the time to whom the claimant said: “ Geé, Joe, I guess I got.it this time,” to which Joe replied, “ I guess you have.” Claimant says: “ I walked around limping and just…
