OPINION

WHITHAM, Justice.

In this permanent injunction case, the appellant-manufacturer, Safeguard Business Systems, Inc., presents a limited appeal from the trial court’s judgment against the appellee-distributor, Gerald L. Schaffer, individually and d/b/a Schaffer & Associates. The principal issue is whether a manufacturer must place its customer list into the public record in order to enforce its distributor’s covenant not to compete. The trial court found that the covenant not to compete was valid and binding and that, unless Schaffer was enjoined, Safeguard Business would suffer…
