On June 26, 1992, a juvenile delinquency petition was filed against each respondent charging each respondent with the commission of acts which, were they adults, would constitute the crimes of criminal possession of a weapon in the fourth degree (Penal Law § 265.01 [1]), criminal mischief in the fourth degree (Penal Law § 145.00 [1]), and unlawful possession of weapons by persons under 16 (Penal Law § 265.05).
