^Petitioner, Michael Lee Sturd, Jr., petitions for a writ of prohibition or, alternatively, a writ of certiorari to halt further proceedings in the trial of his case. We deny the requested relief without prejudice.

On June 4, 2009, Michael Sturd was a passenger in a vehicle, driven by Dewquan Jones, that was stopped on 1-40 in Lonoke County by a state trooper. The trooper searched the vehicle and discovered a gun and marijuana in the vehicle as well as marijuana on Sturd’s person.
