GARZA, Circuit Judge:

In a four-count indictment, appellants were charged with conspiracy to import marihuana into the United States,1 conspiracy to possess marihuana with the intent to distribute,2 importation of marihuana3 and possession of marihuana with the intent to *472distribute.4 After pleading not guilty, the case went to trial; with the exception of Manso, appellants were found guilty on all four counts.
