CALABRIA, Judge.

*203Crystal Mangum ("defendant") appeals from judgment entered upon a jury verdict finding her guilty of second degree murder. We find no error.

*558I. Background

Defendant and Reginald Daye ("Daye") met through mutual friends in January 2011. One month later, the two began living together along with defendant's three children.
