This case raises the issues, not previously considered by an appellate court in this State, whether a parent may on his or *108her own behalf and on behalf of his or her child sue a court-appointed Law Guardian for legal malpractice and, if so, what legal standard should apply in evaluating the Law Guardian’s representation.
